HUMANISTIC PSYCHOTHERAPEUTIC COUNSELLOR
I provide a professional counselling and psychotherapy service for clients with problems that may include: feelings of depression, anxiety or stress; general unhappiness; difficulties managing anger; bereavement and loss; difficulties with communication and inter-personal relationships.
I offer one to one therapy sessions on a short or long term basis and these usually take place in my therapy room, located in the centre of Lewes, England.
I also offer an online therapy service via videoconference.

Why counselling?
People choose to come to counselling or psychotherapy for many reasons. For example, they may have suffered distressing or stressful experiences that they are struggling to move on from, or they may be feeling generally anxious, stressed and unhappy.
Working in a therapeutic counselling relationship, in a safe and supportive environment, can help you to better understand your situation and to find meaning in your life.
Counselling can also be helpful for personal development: it is not at all necessary to have a ‘problem’ to find counselling useful.
ABOUT ME
I’m a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I completed my PgDip (postgraduate diploma) in humanistic psychotherapeutic counselling at the University of Brighton.
Before working exclusively in private practice I have held senior management roles in both higher and NHS medical education, latterly with Health Education England (HEE). I have extensive experience of working with academics and clinical staff in the NHS, including providing support for medical trainees in difficulty. I also work to support senior professionals experiencing personal and career difficulties.
